Sunday 19 September to Sunday 26 September - Zambezi International Regatta. This is the fourth Oxford v Cambridge v South African Universities boat race. Venue - Zambezi Boat Club, Livingstone. Main event - Saturday 25 September, 9am - 3pm. Rafting event: Tuesday 21 September. Will be held in the gorges between rapids 1 and 7. Organisers would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to assist in running the event on a voluntary basis, especially people with safety boats. They are still looking for sponsors as this is the Centenary of the first Zambezi Regatta. There will be a number of events which need local competitors to take part. Saturday 18 September: Leopards Hill Half Marathon, 10k, 5k and Kids Fun Runs. Venue: Lazy J Equestrian Centre and Nature Reserve. Time: 7am -11am.
