Saturday 25 September - Sunday 26 September - Mazabuka Mountain Bike Challenge.  Enter the 2 or 1 day 60km, 40km, or 10km.  Camping facilities available.  A great family weekend away. INFO: 0977 751-157 or email getpsychedo1@yahoo.com

Sunday 19 September to Sunday 26 September - Zambezi International Regatta.  This is the fourth Oxford v Cambridge v South African Universities boat race.  Venue - Zambezi Boat Club, Livingstone.  Main event - Saturday 25 September, 9am - 3pm.  Rafting event: Tuesday 21 September.  Will be held in the gorges between rapids 1 and 7.  Organisers would be delighted to hear from anyone who would like to assist in running the event on a voluntary basis, especially people with safety boats.  They are still looking for sponsors as this is the Centenary of the first Zambezi Regatta.  There will be a number of events which need local competitors to take part. Saturday 18 September: Leopards Hill Half Marathon, 10k, 5k and Kids Fun Runs.  Venue: Lazy J Equestrian Centre and Nature Reserve.  Time: 7am -11am.  At this scenic off-road course and venue, we'll have great race prizes, food and plenty of encouragement.  Registration taking place now.  INFO: runleopardshill@hotmail.com
